The Philippine National Police (PNP) Calabarzon has identified the person of interest behind the missing beauty queen, Catherine Camilon.
According to PNP-Calabarzon spokesperson Col. Chitadel Gaoiran, they already have the person of interest's identity, but they cannot make it public due to the ongoing investigation.
Based on closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage, Camilon's car was seen passing through several towns in Batangas on October 12.
After Camilon was spotted walking inside a mall in Lemery at 7:24 p.m., her car was seen passing Poblacion Uno in Sta. Teresita at 8:07 p.m.
Three minutes later or around 8:10 p.m., the CCTV camera captured the passing of the vehicle in Barangay Muzon in the town of San Luis.
Between 8:24 p.m. and 9:25 p.m., vehicles can be seen passing through several barangays in Bauan.
In the CCTV camera footage, it seems that Camilon was with someone in the car.
It can be remembered that Camilon's mother first said that she sent a message that she was at a gas station in Bauan.
Camilon's car left Barangay San Agustin in Bauan around 9:53 p.m. and it was seen to exit the barangay road of Barangay Sta Maria by 10:00 p.m.
PRO-CALABARZON is working with the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) and the Highway Patrol Group to also trace Catherine's vehicle.
On October 12, the beauty queen was last seen at a mall in Lemery.
Camilon's mother said she was supposed to meet someone in Batangas City, but she did not show up.
According to Gaoiran, the beauty queen has no reported relationship, and the motive for her disappearance is still unclear.
Anyone who can point out Catherine's whereabouts will receive P200,000.
