

Atty. Vic Rodriguez, chief of staff and spokesperson for presumptive president Ferdinand Marcos, Jr., has been nominated as the next administration's executive secretary.
In a statement, Rodriguez said he accepts his new assignment, saying that it is "flattering" to work with Marcos.
"Who can say no to President-elect Bongbong Marcos? It is an honor working with him, whom I have known for a very long time and I believe will serve the country efficiently and with unquestioned devotion," he said in his statement.
"I thanked President-elect Bongbong Marcos for the trust and confidence. Rest assured that our team will work doubly hard for the success of his six-year presidency."
The nomination was announced as Rodriguez formally relinquished his position as the spokesperson of Marcos Jr.
Prior to his role as Marcos' spokesperson, He was also the former deputy general counsel of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines.
He finished law school at the University of Santo Tomas, and also has Executive Education at the National University of Singapore (NUS) Negotiation and Influence Program.
