Senatorial candidate Antonio Trillanes IV says that there is a "slow burn" pattern of support towards Vice President Leni Robredo's campaign to presidency that will eventually go up.

According to Trillanes, this is the same pattern of support seen by President Rodrigo Duterte in 2016 and the late President Noynoy Aquino in 2010.
