Senatorial candidate Guillermo Eleazar explained that his "strong desire" to continue public service pushed him to run for the Senate.

Eleazar, who recently retired as Philippine National Police chief, said he was too young and energetic to stay quiet, adding that it would all depend on the people's choice.
