The Russian vlogger who was arrested for harassing Filipinos in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Taguig, is set to be deported to his home country, according to the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).

“He is now on cue for deportation back to Russia,” Interior Secretary Jonvic Remulla said during a press conference on Thursday, where the vlogger, identified as Vitaly Zdorovetskiy, faced the media.

The Bureau of Immigration (BI) said it has already issued a deportation order, which is subject to clearances from the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) and the courts where Zdorovetskiy previously faced charges.

Zdorovetskiy’s cases before the Metropolitan Trial Court and the Regional Trial Court in Taguig have already been resolved, and his penalties in those cases have been deemed served, according to BI.

“Marapat po ay maaari na rin po siyang ma-deport sa lalong madaling panahon,” said BI Legal Division Chief Arvin Cesar G. Santos.

Santos added that the BI is currently coordinating with Russian authorities for Zdorovetskiy’s deportation.

Remulla clarified that although Zdorovetskiy is a U.S. green card holder, he is a Russian citizen, and his deportation will therefore be processed to Russia.

“Let this be a reminder to all our visitors in the Philippines that we welcome tourists and visitors, but we also expect them to follow our laws and respect our people,” Remulla said.

In April 2025, the CIDG apprehended Vitaly at a hotel in Pasay City through a mission order for undesirability, citing a violation of Bureau of Immigration (BI) Operations Order No. SBM-2014-048.

The 34-year-old vlogger faced backlash on social media after his videos showed him disrespecting Filipinos, including security guards, traffic personnel, and ordinary citizens.
