Drag queen Sofia, real name Andrei Trazona, has responded to his mom's open letter on social media not supporting his sexual preference and career in dragging.
Sharing the post of Izzy, Andrei admitted that he "lied in an interview," saying that his mother is supporting him just to protect her from any backlash.

"But there's no point in protecting her because the truth came out straight from her," said Andrei.
"As much as I love you, you know that I don't wanna live in a lie. I'm sustaining myself for years now and I am living responsibly honest. I'm tired of this conversation about me being gay and doing drag. I wanna end this argument by saying that "I wanna live my own truth and someday you will be proud of what I will become," he added.
Andrei expressed his love for his mom, but it wasn't healthy, according to him.
"I hope someday you will understand how it feels to be in my shoes. I miss you but you're not bringing me any comfort and compassion I deserve," the post read.
<a href="https://dzrh.com.ph/post/sexbomb-izzy-post-on-son" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Izzy posted</a> her open letter for her son on Sunday, emphasizing her faith, "holding on with the TRUTH that is written in the bible, the word of God" and that she only want is to protect her son.
"So if my children, the 4 of them, will do something that is against the faith that I have in Christ, that will I disagree. I point them to Jesus because with that I will be secured with their future. The best I know I can give to my children, more than richness, fame and all," Izzy said.
She concluded the post by saying, "Andrei anak, I love you so much to not support you on things that will harm you. I am always here for you&hellip;your mama, mahal na mahal kita."
In another post, Andrei said, "It&rsquo;s like saying i love you because you&rsquo;re my son but i don&rsquo;t accept you for who you are."
