The Pasig Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 167 declared the request of dismissed Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo to remain in the custody of the Philippine National Police (PNP) Custodial Center as 'moot.'

"The accused Alice Leal Guo was already committed at the Pasig City Jail Female Dormitory, the Very Urgent Motion to Remain at the PNP Custodial Facility filed by accused Guo is considered as MOOT," the order released on Monday stated.

The transfer from the PNP Custodial Center occurred before the court acknowledged the urgent motion filed by Guo's camp.

Furthermore, the court hearing regarding the alleged threats to the former mayor's life, linked to the illegal Philippine Offshore Gaming Operator (POGO) in Bamban, has also been canceled.

The Pasig RTC ordered the arrest of Guo due to non-bailable charges of qualified human trafficking filed by the Department of Justice (DOJ).

The DOJ and PNP Legal Service were also set to oppose Guo's request.
