The transfer of dismissed Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo from the Philippine National Police (PNP) Custodial Center to the female dormitory of Pasig City Jail is likely to occur on Monday, after it was postponed on Friday night.
According to PNP Spokesperson PCol. Jean Fajardo, this timeline was provided by the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG), the team responsible for transferring Guo to the detention facility.
BJMP Spokesperson Jayrex Bustinera previously stated that the PNP did not complete the documentary requirements by Friday when Guo's arrival at the detention facility was initially expected.
Guo has already undergone medical and booking procedures at Camp Crame as part of the process for her transfer.
Pasig Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 167 ordered Guo's transfer to the Pasig BJMP due to charges of qualified human trafficking connected to the illegal Philippine Offshore Gaming Operator (POGO) raided in Bamban.
Furthermore, the BJMP assured that no special treatment will be provided to Guo once she is transferred to the female dormitory of the detention facility.
