Alas Pilipinas fell to Indonesia in four sets, 23-25, 25-19, 25-11, 25-21, on Saturday, August 17, in the first leg of the 2024 SEA V.League at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.

Bryan Bagunas scored 17 points, all from attacks, before the team captain of Alas Pilipinas suffered a knee injury and left the game.

Michaelo Buddin also finished with 16 markers for the host team that dropped to a 1-1 win-loss record.

Fahri Putrama registered 21 markers, while Farhan Halim pitched in 16 points for the defending champions to snag their first win in the tournament.

Alas Pilipinas as will seek to make a comeback when the squad faces Thailand, which remains winless in the tournament, on Sunday, August 18, at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.

The Filipinos bagged their first win in the competition when they bested Vietnam in four sets, 25-21, 25-22, 18-25, 25-23, last Friday, August 16.
