Alas Pilpinas secured another podium-finish in the 2024 SEA V. League.

The Philippine National Men's Volleyball team placed third in the second leg of the tournament after surviving Vietnam in five sets, 27-25, 14-25, 22-25, 25-21, 15-12, on Sunday, August 25, in Indonesia.

Buds Buddin finished with 24 points, 22 from attacks, one from a block, and one from a service ace, while Louie Ramirez added 19 markers for the Philippines to claim victory after three outings.

Buddin, who stepped up to fill the void left by team captain Bryan Bagunas due to a knee injury, received the 1 best outsider plum.
