Athisa Manalo concluded her journey in Miss Cosmo 2024 by securing a spot in the Top 10 during the pageant's coronation night held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, on Saturday.
The Philippine bet secured her place in the Top 10 after being voted as the winner of the Cosmo People's Choice award. The ten queens were selected by a combination of jury panel decisions and audience voting.
Joining the Filipina queen in the Top 10 are Zimbabwe, Cambodia, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Indonesia, United States of America (USA), Vietnam, Peru, and Thailand.
She was unable to advance to the question-and-answer portion of the pageant after failing to secure a spot in the Top 5.
The Top 5 was announced after the evening gown competition, where Manalo graced the stage in a stunning violet gown.
The finalists are Indonesia, United States of America, Vietnam, Peru, and Thailand.
In the end, Indonesia's Ketut Permata Juliastrid bagged the crown and took home the title of Miss Cosmo 2024.
Manalo arrived in Vietnam in September to kick off her journey and participate in various pageant activities.
She initially made waves in the competition as she flaunted her national costume, a Dyesebel-inspired dress.
Despite her sprained ankle, Manalo participated in the closed-door interviews and confidently walked the jury session in her long gown and neon swimsuit.
In 2018, Ahtisa Manalo showcased her beauty and talent as she represented the Philippines in the Miss International pageant, securing the place of 1st Runner-Up.
