For the first time in the history of Philippine Television, the long-time rival networks are collaborating for a project!
On Saturday, GMA Network uploaded a 16-second teaser video hinting at its collaboration with fellow media giant ABS-CBN Inc. on its social media platforms.
“A collaboration that nobody expected is about to happen! Save the date! January 23, 2023. 12nn. https://fb.watch/idc55EHUDW/” it captioned in its post.
The teaser video shows the logos of GMA and ABS-CBN along with Hong Kong’s leading video streaming provider Viu.
In another social media post on Sunday, GMA Network released a 15-second video that gave a glimpse of the stars who will star in the project.
“The ensemble cast set to break boundaries will be revealed soon! January 23, 2023. 12nn. 🌈💙💚❤️” it wrote in the caption.

In the 15-second video, cut-up photos of four ABS-CBN and GMA talents were shown.
Although half of the artists’ faces were seen and official names have yet to be announced, many netizens guessed that Jodi Sta. Maria, Richard Yap, and Joshua Garcia, Gabbi Garcia will be the lead cast.
In April last year, GMA Network and ABS-CBN Inc. first sealed a deal for the airing of the films of Star Cinema on GMA’s local channel.
