

Two students were struck by falling debris from a condominium in Tomas Morato corner Roces Ave., Quezon City, on Tuesday night, August 12.

The students were identified to be from Don Alejandro Roces Sr. Science-Technology High School. According to witnesses in the area, the three male students were seen exiting a convenience store located directly beneath the condominium when two of them were hit by rock debris that fell from an unknown floor, while the other one student were safe from the incident. Blood was also observed at the scene.
The Quezon City Police Department (QCPD) reported that the students were rushed to the nearest hospital for immediate treatment.
Initial investigations revealed that the debris originated from flaking cement on the fourth floor of the building.
