Three police personnel of the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) were relieved from their posts on Wednesday, Dec. 20, after allegedly spreading the crime scene video of late veteran actor Ronaldo Valdez.
According to Val Gonzales' report during Rapido Hataw Balita, QCPD chief police Rederico Maranan and Philippine National Police (PNP) spokesperson Jean Fajardo said the relieved policemen were identified as PCol. Wilfredo Calbao, PCol. Rommel Rosales and Reynante Parlado, who sits as QCPD Station 11's commander.

Fajardo noted that the video should not be uploaded on social media, noting that such videos should only be strictly used for "documentation purposes."
"Kung ito ay kuha ng ating first police responders for documentation purposes, wala po sanang naging problema," Fajardo said during a press conference in Camp Crame.
The three policemen will reportedly face charges of violation of the Data Privacy Act and Irregularity in the Performance of Duty.
They are now being held at the QCPD accounting unit amidst pending investigation.
Meanwhile, three civilians are also under investigation due to alleged sharing the actor's video on social media.
Valdez, one of the country's veteran actors, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 17. He was 77 years old.
