Two individuals were killed after an elevator undergoing repair inside the Burgundy Corporate Tower in Makati City collapsed early Friday.
Based on the latest police report, the fatalities were identified as Manuel Linayao and Rey Miguel Gilera, both elevator installers and employees of DLC Contractor.
The Southern Police District (SPD) said the incident happened around 2:55 AM at the Burgundy Tower along Buendia Avenue in Barangay Pio del Pilar.
SPD said the elevator from the 38th floor fell to the 6th floor which killed the victims and injured two others.
Authorities are still investigating the incident.
