MANILA, Philippines – The Department of Foreign Affairs-Office of Consular Affairs (DFA-OCA) announced that it will suspend operations of its Consular Office in San Jose de Buenavista and Iloilo City on March 18, 2025, in observance of the Liberation of Panay.

“The Department of Foreign Affairs - Office of Consular Affairs (DFA-OCA) informs the public that its Consular Office in San Jose de Buenavista and Iloilo City will be closed on Tuesday, 18 March 2025, in observance of the Liberation of Panay,” the DFA stated in a news release.

The DFA advised affected passport applicants that they will be accommodated withing 30 days from their original appointment date.

For applicants who will be needing emergency or urgent consular services, the DFA said that they may contact the CO through email at [email protected] and [email protected].

Consular operations will resume on Wednesday, 19 March 2025, the DFA mentioned.
