President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos expressed his love for his wife, First Lady Liza, after asking her to marry him again during their 30th wedding anniversary celebration
Marcos took on Facebook photos of their special celebration with family and close friends.
"She said YES (again)!" President Marcos wrote, sharing his joy at renewing his vows with First Lady Liza.
He added, "30 years later there is still no place I'd rather be and no person I'd rather be with. Liza, you will always be the girl of my dreams."
President Marcos even included a handwritten letter in the photos, where he asked his wife to marry him again, saying, "Dearest Liza, make all my dreams come true. Marry me again! Happy anniversary!"
President Marcos and First Lady Liza tied the knot on April 17, 1993, at the beautiful San Francesco Convent in Fiesole, Italy, as stated on the President's website.
They are proud parents of three sons, Senior Deputy Majority Leader Sandro, Joseph Simon, and William Vincent "Vinny," who are a source of joy in their lives.
Reflecting on their love story, President Marcos fondly recalled how he and First Lady Liza first met in New York in 1986, when she was working as a lawyer.
