Good news for Taguig City residents!
Taguigeños may head to the TLC Village in Barangay Lower Bicutan on Monday night to witness and celebrate a brighter and lovelier Valentine's Day with their family or special someone.
Led by Mayor Lani Cayetano, officials of the city government will open "Love at the Park," which features around one million light bulbs using energy-efficient technology to create a romantic ambiance for couples, families, and friends.
Among the free lit-up big love art installations are the Wall of Roses, a heart tunnel, and a sea of pink and red dandelions.
Other attractions at the park include the Aqua Luna Lights and Sounds Show, which features spectacular lights synchronized to breathtaking music.
The interactive art murals provide ideal locations for that Instagram-worthy shot, while couples can enjoy a romantic stroll along the Path of Flowers, which is lined with cherry blossoms.
Date nights with loved ones become even more romantic when strolling along the boardwalks by the Mercado del Lago's floating nipa huts (kubo).
Cayetano told reporters in an interview that visitors can enjoy Valentine's vibe at the park for free.
The mayor also stated that the area would be transformed into an art hub in honor of February being National Arts Month.
She also stated that health protocols are in place to ensure visitor safety.
Cayetano also stated that they sanitize the area on a regular basis as an added safety precaution.
The TLC Village first opened with a Christmas village theme in late November of last year.
The park will be open to the public from 5 p.m. on Tuesday until Feb. 26 at 10 p.m.
