It was absolutely a night to remember for Filipino EXOLs as they reunited with Sehun and Chanyeol of the widely-known K-pop boy group EXO at the Big Dome on Saturday night.

The subunit, known as EXO-SC (SeChan), has been on tour since the start of this year for their "BACK TO BACK" fancon shows in Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, and Singapore.

On Saturday, May 20, the EXO members returned to Manila to perform before the 15,000 fans at the Smart Araneta Coliseum for their one-night soldout show.

Looking handsome and chic in their denim outfits, Sehun and Chanyeol hyped up the crowd with "What A Life," the title track from their first mini album of the same title. The duo coupled it with performances of their other songs such as "1 Billion Views," "Borderline," "Fly Away," "Rodeo Station," and "Just Us 2."

Aside from their performances, the duo also sat down with fans as they shared some unreleased photos from their personal phones along with stories behind them. They also played the traditional Filipino game 'sipa' and also tried Filipino rice cakes such as sapin-sapin and pichi-pichi.

However, the highlight of the two-hour-long fancon was when Chanyeol surprised Filipino fans with a performance of Yeng Constatino's "Hawak Kamay" while playing guitar.

"Who would have thought that PH-EXOLs will hear ‘Hawak Kamay’ again in 2023?" the Araneta Coliseum said on Twitter.

Chanyeol together with the EXO members previously sang "Hawak Kamay" during the group's visit to Manila in 2013, approximately 10 years ago.

Sehun, meanwhile, danced to some of EXO's hit songs such as "Love Shot" and "The Eve," making the fans scream at the top of their lungs.

Toward the end of the concert, the duo extended their gratitude to the fans who have waited for their return and hoped that next time, they will come back to the country with their other EXO members for a much-awaited concert.

"Kayo ang best! Mahal kita, mahal ko kayo!" Chanyeol quipped.

EXO-SC, the second subunit of the K-pop group EXO, officially debuted back in 2019 and has since released an extended play and a full-length album.

Fellow EXO members Xiumin and Chen also went to the Philippines in December for an advocacy concert, while Baekhyun is set to perform at another local concert alongside other K-pop soloists in June.
