

The wait is over — BLACKPINK is back with a powerful and deadly single "Pink Venom."
On Friday, the girl group dropped their much-awaited pre-release single “Pink Venom” ahead of their full-length album “BORN PINK,” which is set to be released in September.
"Pink Venom" is a hip hop song that highlights BLACKPINK’s talented singing and rapping skills as well as their trademark fierce charisma. It also featured sounds from traditional Korean musical instruments.
Shortly after its release, the single has topped multiple Korean realtime music charts, hitting No. 1 on Bugs, Vibe, and Genie—and it also soared to the top of iTunes charts in numerous countries around the world.
According to YG Entertainment, as of 8:50 AM KST on August 20, “Pink Venom” had already hit No. 1 on iTunes Top Songs charts in at least 69 different regions.
As of writing, the music video for "Pink Venom" has now over 81 million views on YouTube.
BLACKPINK is set to embark on their biggest world tour this year, starting off with a two-day concert in Seoul on October 15 and 16, followed by performances in the US and Europe until the end of the year.
By the start of 2023, the group will be returning to Asia with performances in Bangkok, Hong Kong, Riyadh, and Abu Dhabi. They will also be visiting Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Kaohsiung, and Manila in March.
The group is set to perform in Manila on March 25, 2023. Details on the ticketing and venue have yet to be announced.
