Senator Christopher 'Bong' Go has expressed his concern over the pest infestation at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), saying this is embarrassing to visitors entering the country.
The senator urges authorities to take immediate and decisive action considering that the airport is the country's main gateway.
Napakapangit naman na may problema sa peste diyan," Go said in an ambush interview on Tuesday, March 5.

The senator made the statement following consecutive complaints about the infestation of bugs and rats at NAIA Terminals 1, 2, and 3.
Go stressed that authorities should be accountable and properly utilize resources to address the issue promptly.
In an exclusive interview on Monday, March 4, Manila International Airport Authority General Manager Eric Ines apologized for the inconvenience caused.
He noted that the management will work on a unified pest control policy at all NAIA terminals.
