Filipina tennis star Alex Eala has secured a spot in the semifinals of the doubles event of the W75 Croissy-Beauborg in France.

Eala and her French partner Estelle Cascino bested Emily Appleton of the United Kingdom, and Isabelle Haverlag of Netherlands, 6-4, 6-0, on the quarterfinals on Thursday, March 28.

Eala and Cascino now turns their sights Kira Pavlova of Russia, and Marie Weckerle of Luxemborg, who await them in the semifinals round.

The 18-year old Filipna tennis player also competed in the single's event of the French tournament but bowed out in the Round of 16.
