South Korean rapper Zico's KOZ Entertainment, a sublabel of HYBE, will debut its first K-pop boy group this May.
On November last year, Zico confidently expressed excitement over the upcoming launch of his produced boy group.
"It's too vague to talk about specific concepts. It will be a team that the public and the fandom can enjoy," he said during the HYBE Company Presentation with the 2022 Community.
Zico debuted in 2014 as a producer and rapper of BLOCK B. Since leaving the group, he has been working as a solo singer and producer with hit-released songs Any Song (2021) and Sappy (2022).
The public has high anticipation for the new boy group, which will debut under one of Kpop's Big 4 agencies.
HYBE already made its name in the industry with worldwide known K-pop groups TOMORROW X TOGETHER, ENHYPEN, LE SSERAFIM, and NewJeans.
