South Korean rapper Zico on Sunday, February 18, apologized to idols for starting the “dance challenge” trend during the height of his hit track “Any Song” challenge.

In an Allkpop report, the “dance challenge” trend became a crucial promotional activity for idols who recently released any music in the K-pop scene.

Zico expressed his worries regarding dance challenges taking up idols’ rest during breaks on music programs.

“Usually, singers rest or practice for their performance during the break. But nowadays, they have to meet up with their colleagues and film 'challenge' videos,” Zico said.

“They also have to know all the others' choreography. So I apologize now that I'm here,” he added.
