Kapuso actress Marian Rivera-Dantes is a proud mom after daughter Zia received the award as the most outstanding swimmer at the swimming competition on Saturday, August 19.
With beaming pride and joy, Marian shared the good news on her social media accounts.
In her caption, the 39-year-old actress said that she was speechless at her daughter’s achievement.
"Speechless and proud of you, Zia! Being awarded the most outstanding swimmer at the Speedo Jumpstart Novice Swim Carnival is a testament to your hard work and dedication," she said.
"Watching you grow from the beginning till now fills Mama’s heart with pride. Keep giving your best, guided by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ," Marian added.
In a separate Instagram post, Dingdong Dantes posted photos of Zia that he took during the competition.
"Your progress since your first competitions has been remarkable, and I commend the entire team under the guidance of your coaches, Angelo and Miguel from the Bert Lozada Swimming School," he captioned.
"Please understand that regardless of the outcome, I am already incredibly proud of the dedication, passion, and enthusiasm you bring to this sport," Dingdong added.

Apart from bagging the most exceptional swimmer award, Zia also took home three gold medals for placing first in the 25-meter backstroke, 25-meter butterfly, and 25-meter freestyle events within the 7-year-old girls’ category.
