Trigger Warning: Suicide

"Binibini" singer Zack Tabudlo broke his silence after getting involved in a romance rumor with fellow singer Moira Dela Torre through a lengthy and sensitive Facebook post.

In a now-viral post hinting at him as a third party, Tabudlo clarified that they were all in shock upon hearing the news, and they were all trying to protect her and give her all the love she needed by being present for her.

He also explained that he was trying to be that friend who never left Dela Torre’s side as she ended her marriage with Jason Hernandez.

He added that his closeness with the "Dito Ka Lang" singer was taken out of context, as he was only there for a friend who needed his help and wanted to give back the protection and support Dela Torre gave when he needed it.

"But that's not what everyone saw and what everyone knew," he said.

Tabuldo also admitted that the rumors and pressure led him to such a mental breakdown that he almost tried to take his life.

He went on to thank everyone who has supported his music and hopes that he can encourage others who are in the same circumstances to realize that it is not the end of their lives.

He also left a message for Dela Torre, whom he described as the strongest person he had ever encountered.

Meanwhile, Dela Torre took to social media yesterday to defend herself against claims made against her as a composer and artist.

Her lengthy reaction came only days after a Facebook post questioned the singer's ethics as an artist and lyricist.

Dela Torre also stressed that she had never cheated on her estranged husband, Jason Hernandez.

Dela Torre and Hernandez, whose music partnership created the singer's megahits "Ikaw at Ako" and "Tagpuan," among many others, married in January 2019.

In May 2022, they announced their separation, with Hernandez admitting he had been unfaithful to his wife during their three-year marriage.

Following their split, Hernandez released two songs about remorse and letting go of a loved one.
