Filipino gymnast Carlos Yulo finished with three medals, including a gold, in the second leg of the 2023 International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) Artistic Gymnastics World Cup in Doha, Qatar.

Yulo ruled the floor exercise event after garnering 14.833 points in the finals last Friday, March 3.

Kazuki Minami of Japan brought home the silver medal after tallying a score of 14.200 points while Luke Whitehouse of Great Britain secured third place with a score of 13.966 points.

The medal rush of Yulo continued on Saturday, March 4, when he won the bronze medal in the vaulte exercise event.

Yulo finished with 14.883 points behind Davtyan Artur of Armenia, who bagged the gold medal with a score of 15.083 points, and Radivilo Igor of Ukraine, who garnered 14.899 points to place second.

The 23-year old Filipino also won the silver medal in the parallel bars event after garnering a score of 14.933 points.

Illia Kovtun of Ukraine bagged the gold medal in the contest with a score of 14.966 points while Ferhat Arican of Turkey tallied 14.733 points to finish in third place.

In the first leg of the World Cup Series in Cottbus, Germany, Yulo managed to bag a bronze medal in the floor exercise event.

Yulo will seek to continue his winning ways in the next leg of the World Cup series that will run from March 9 to March 12 in Baku, Azerbaijan.
