South Korean music label YG Entertainment has denied reports that BLACKPINK will transfer to its associated agency, The Black Label.

In a report by South Korean media outlet Soompi, the label simply said "It's false."

The statement comes after the Korea Herald released an exclusive report that the 4-piece global girl group will transfer once their contract with YGE expires in 2023.

According to the report, a YG official told them about BLACKPINK's departure.

“There’s nothing I can confirm regarding the news. What I can say is that our contracts with the members have not ended yet. It's hard to confirm whether they will sign with The Black Label or not after their contracts end," the YG official said as quoted by the Korea Herald.

The reported exit of BLACKPINK comes after several YGE groups including K-pop boy group iKon and members of BIGBANG have confirmed leaving the agency.
