Actress Yen Santos and politician-businessman Chavit Singson broke their silence on rumors of their supposed love child on Wednesday, laughing at the idea.

Singson guested in Santos’ latest vlog, “Questions You Want Manong Chavit Singson to Answer” on August 27, where they shut down speculations, particularly about their purported relationship.

“Lagi tayong nai-issue, mayroon pa nga daw tayong anak diba? Malaki na daw ‘yung anak natin, si Yanyan. So anak ba natin ‘yun?” Santos jokingly asked Singson.

To which he responded, “Ewan ko sa’yo,” in jest.

“Hindi po namin ‘yun anak, kapatid ko ‘yun and ninong siya nun,” Santos clarified.

When asked if he had ever dated a celebrity, Singson dismissed it as a rumor.

“Wala pa. Mga marites lang ‘yun,” he said.

Singson is a close friend of Santos’ parents, so they have known each other for over a decade now, Santos said.

Yen Santos’ last reported relationship was with actor Paolo Contis.
