A 77-year-old woman perished in a fire that engulfed several houses under the Balintawak Bridge in Quezon City on Wednesday morning.

An initial report from the Bureau of Fire (BFP) - Quezon City said they received the fire alarm around 4 AM. It then raised the alarm to the fourth level an hour later.

Authorities declared fire out at 8:08 AM.
