Television host and comedian Willie Revillame on Sunday appealed for the public's support and asked to set aside politics amid rumors that several shows on his network ALLTV will stop broadcasting.
Revillame made this appeal when he addressed all the controversy hounding the network during his variety show Wowowin.
"Ipagdasal niyo kami. Set aside ninyo 'yung pulitika," he said.
The 62-year-old TV host said the public should understand that the network has just started.
Revillame then asked the public to not make fun of the network's downfall.
Huwag niyo naman sana ganon," he lamented.
On Friday, Pep Talk reported that the management of All Media Broadcasting System (AMBS) announced that three shows including Wowowin, Toni hosted by Toni Gonzaga as well as Mhies on a Mission (MOM) by Ruffa Gutierez, Mariel Rodriguez, and Ciara Sotto, will take a break on air.
ALLTV is owned by billionaire business tycoon and former senate president Manny Villar.
The network airs on Channel 2 which was previously occupied by ABS-CBN Network.
On September 13, 2022, ALLTV was soft-launched.
