

Comedian, satirist, and impersonator Willie Nepomuceno has passed away on Wednesday. He was 75.
His passing was confirmed by his family in a Facebook post.
"It is with deep sadness and heavy heart to announce the passing of our beloved father, Willie Nepomuceno, on July 26, 2023, at the age of 75. He has peacefully joined our creator," the post read.
Details of his wake will be announced by his family soon.
Nepomuceno rose to fame for his satirical impersonations of some of the famous personalities and political figures in the country such as former presidents Ferdinand Marcos Sr., Fidel Ramos, Joseph Estrada and Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino.
He also impersonated other political figures such as Jaime Cardinal Sin and former Manila mayor Alfredo Lim, as well as celebrities such as Fernando Poe, Jr. and Rodolfo "Dolphy" Quizon.
Nepomuceno led the cast of the sketch comedy show "Ispup" on the former ABC-5 and also released six albums.
