Whistleblower Benhur Luy argued Thursday before the Sandiganbayan 3rd Division that his former colleagues at Janet Lim Napoles (JLN) Corp. were involved in the Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) scam.
Atty. Francisco Muñez, who represents former JLN Corp. employees Evelyn De Leon, Mylene Encarnacion, Rodrigo Galay, and Laarni Uy, cross-examined Luy, who stated that he has no other evidence besides his testimony.
In his sworn affidavit, Luy claimed that his former co-workers were involved in the preparation of documents such as receipts and vouchers, the forging of signatures, the production of fake letterheads, and the encashment of checks for bogus non-government organizations in relation to former senator and now Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Juan Ponce Enrile's PDAF.
During cross-examination, Luy maintained his statements, emphasizing that he shared a seat with De Leon at the JLN office.
Muñez questioned Luy for logbooks, documentation, or even images or CCTV footage to back up his claims.
Luy is scheduled to return to court on Tuesday for the resumption of his cross-examination by other defense counsel.
