The Irish rock band, The Script officially concluded their “Satellites World Tour” in Manila on Wednesday, surprising fans with a public performance.
In a social media post on Friday, February 14, the band’s vocalist Danny O’Donoghue, was seen busking on the streets of Quezon City. The short clip showed the vocalist serenading fans, as he played his acoustic guitar to their hit song, “The Man Who Can’t Be Moved.”
Meanwhile, fans can be seen singing along to the vocalist. In its social media post, The Script described the experience as “unreal.”
“Manila, Busking in the streets with you singing every word back was unreal. Big love to everyone who showed up, what a night!” the script said in its caption.

The video also showed Danny high-fiving and waving to fans as the car drove away.
The busking came after the band had two sold-out shows at the Araneta Coliseum from February 11 to 12. After concluding the concert, the band highlighted in its social media post that nothing beats holding a concert in the Philippines.
“Philippines! The crowd, the vibe, the energy—nothing beats this place,” they wrote.

However, this is not the first time that the band held a concert in the country. In 2022, they returned to the Philippines for their “Greatest Hits Tour.”
The Script is composed of, vocalist Danny, guitarist Ben Weaver, bassist Benjamin Sargent, and drummer Glen Power. They are known for releasing popular songs like “Breakeven,” “Hall of Fame,” and “Rain.”
