It is indeed a “Good Life” for many Filipino WayZenNies after reuniting with Chinese boy group WayV during its first-ever fun-filled fan meeting dubbed “PHANTOM” on Sunday, March 26.
WayV opened the event by blasting the Smart Araneta Coliseum’s stage with “Kickback” and “Try My Luck“, which drove thousands of fans crazy.
The group then performed a special stage they’d prepared exclusively for Filo WayZenNi’s eyes.
Wearing cute bunny headbands, cat ears, and glamorous crowns, the five members danced to their fellow SM Artists’ hit songs namely “Illusion” by Aespa, “Candy” by NCT Dream, and “Sherlock” by Shinee.
YangYang said they specifically chose to perform “Sherlock” because they respect Shinee, one of their sunbaenims or seniors in their company.

Of course, a fan meeting is not just about sizzling performances, the group also delighted Filo WayZenNi through a short segment “What’s in my bag?” featuring Hendry’s travel suitcase.
Various items were found in Hendery’s suitcase including those that are very Pinoy like the native banig pamaypay, classic Good Morning towel, banana chips, and Boracay and Palawan brochures.
Hendery also kept in his suitcase some printed polaroid photos of him and his members when they first visited the Philippines in October last year to perform at “I POP U Manila 2022”.
Some of the photos were their wonderful memories taken at a restaurant, at the Mall of Asia (MOA) seaside, and at a Vikings ride at MOA.

Other songs that WayV performed are “Broken Love”, “All for Love”, “Love Talk”, “Diamonds Only”, “Dream Launch”, and “Nectar”.
WayV were in awe of the roaring cheers from the crowd, saying it was the loudest audience they have ever heard.
In wrapping the two-hour fan meeting, each WayV member gave a parting message to fans. Xiaojun talked about Kun who he said pushed through to perform despite his ankle injury.
Kun, meanwhile, assured me that his ankles are in good condition.
"First of all, I would like to explain that my legs are okay. So please don't worry," he told the fans.
Kun said they have been meaning to return to the country since last year. He thanked the fans for coming to their fan meeting event and promised they will see each other soon.

On the other hand, Ten expressed how thankful he was for the fan's warm welcome.
"As you know, it's my first time in my Philippines right? I think you guys made my day. I will remember this day for the longest time," he said and also vowed to come back super soon.
Echoing the two eldest members Kun and Ten’s remarks, Hendery and Yangyang also said that they will return to the country very soon.
WayV closed the "PHANTOM" stage with their fun R&B track "Good Life".
