WayV got WayZenNies pulling the strings as their new album "Phantom" topped iTunes charts in more than 20 countries in the first 24 hours of its release.
On Wednesday, the Chinese unit of the boyband NCT dropped their much-awaited comeback in over two years with "Phantom," along with the music video of its title track of the same title.
After its global release, the album debuted straight at No. 1 on both the worldwide and European album charts.
In addition, it also ranked No. 1 on iTunes' top album charts in a total of 23 different regions, including Australia, India, Mexico, Brazil, New Zealand, Indonesia, Finland, Poland, Chile, Singapore, Turkey, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, the Philippines, and more.

WayV, likewise, broke their personal record for their first-day album sales.
According to the data released by Hanteo, the NCT subunit's 4th mini-album, 'Phantom,' recorded over 112,838 copies sold on the first day of release, setting a new record for the group.
'Phantom' has become the group's highest-selling album in first-week sales, surpassing the number of copies of their 3rd mini-album, 'Kick Back,' which accumulated around 98,000 units sold on the first day of its release.
The comeback album also includes a total of 8 tracks, including the unit songs "Back To You" and "Low Low."
WayV members Kun, Xiaojun, Hendery, and Yangyang last visited the Philippines in October for the "I POP U in Manila" along with NCT Dream.
Debuted in 2019, WayV is composed of Kun, Ten, Winwin, Lucas, Xiaojun, Hendery, and Yangyang. Member Lucas has been on hiatus since 2021 due to a controversy.
The global group is known for their hit songs Love Talk, Kickback, Miracle, and Nectar.
