South Korean girl group Red Velvet unveiled the haunting trailer for their upcoming album “Chill Kill,” to be released on November 13.
In a nearly 3-minute video, the trailer follows the quintet experiencing troubles in their respective lives, with all of it seemingly leading to a leaflet where their group photo is plastered with the header, “...ever seen this girls in your dreams?”
A series of clips showing camera flashes, an endless spiral of stairs, rotten apples, and blue roses against the backdrop of hushed voices and chilling tunes emerges on the screen.
The trailer ends with Yeri fixing her gaze on a compact mirror in front of their large-sized group photo before it shifts to a menacing shot of Yeri’s back with her shadow looming beside her but not moving an inch.
Red Velvet’s “What A Chill Kill” marks the group’s first full-length album in six years after "Perfect Velvet" that was released in November 2017, and their comeback following the release of their mini album “The ReVe Festival 2022 – Birthday” in November last year.
Red Velvet is a five-member group under SM Entertainment that consists of Wendy, Irene, Seulgi, Joy, and Yeri. They are best known for their songs “Psycho,” “Bad Boy,” “Red Flavor,” and “Peek-A-Boo.”
