Netflix released the official teaser of "The Crown" season finale on Monday, Oct. 9.

On its social media platforms, the American streaming platform announced that the hit royal drama television series would be split into two parts for viewers to watch on November 16 and December 14, respectively.

“Inspired by real events, this fictional dramatization tells the story of Queen Elizabeth II and the political and personal events that shaped her reign,” the caption read.

According to Netflix, Season 6 will feature Princess Diana’s story, with the first four episodes focusing on the events around her tragic death in 1997.

“In the final six episodes, we’ll see Queen Elizabeth II reflect on her reign and look ahead to a time when her successors will take the throne. Expect royal wedding bells for Prince Charles and Camilla, as well as a budding university romance between Prince William and Kate Middleton,” the streaming behemoth said.

"The Crown" was first aired in 2016, capturing the hearts of fans internationally and garnering dozens of awards.
