Responsibilities, pressure, and cries for normalcy mount in the official trailer of the “Young Royals” season finale.

The two-minute trailer follows the ramifications of Prince Wilhelm’s (Edvin Rydin) announcement last season where he admitted his relationship with Simon (Omar Rudberg) and questions on how he would deal with these.

“Wilhelm's speech has consequences not only in the court but also throughout the school, as Hillerska confronts the worst crisis in the school's history,” the series’ logline read.

“The prince and Simon are determined to be together, but what are they willing to sacrifice when realizing that their freedom and love might be at odds with the Royal ideals, traditions, and responsibilities?” It added.

“Young Royals” follows a Swedish prince named Wilhelm and his burgeoning feelings with a classmate named Simon. Problems arise when they struggle to find balance in hiding their relationship and showing how much they love each other.

The Swedish series is set to hit the streaming behemoth on March 11 for episodes 1 to 5 and March 18 for the series finale.
