Gina Rodriguez channels Taylor Swift’s “Mastermind” in the official trailer of Netflix’s “Players” set to premiere on the streaming platform on February 14.

“A New York sports writer with a playbook of clever hookup schemes unexpectedly falls for a fling. Can she go from playing the field to playing for keeps?” its official synopsis reads.

The two-minute trailer follows New York sportswriter Mack who concocts victorious hook-up “plays” with her friend. When she falls for one of her targets, her friends devise a “Mastermind” plan to get him into her.

“She must learn what it takes to go from simply scoring to playing for keeps. Because with this group, love is a team sport,” Netflix’s caption reads.

The romantic comedy film is centered on work, friendship, and romance against the backdrop of playing for love and getting snagged in the sheer bliss of it.

Together with Rodriguez, “Players” is joined by Damon Wayans Jr., Tom Ellis, Joel Courtney, Augustus Prew, Liza Koshy, Ego Nwodim, and Marin Hinkle.
