Netflix unveiled the official teaser for the dark comedy drama “A Killer Paradox” starring South Korean actors Choi Woo-shik and Son Suk-ku.
Based on a webtoon of the same name, “A Killer Paradox” follows a man who accidentally kills a serial killer and a detective chasing after the latter.
The one-minute teaser shows Lee Tang (Woo-shik) working as a convenience store staff member and getting attacked by an unidentified man in a dark alley. Frustration spurred him to take a hammer to hit the man.
A beat is followed by shivering Lee Tang under the pitter-patter of rain as huge blocks of text underscore the words, “Someone died, I killed someone.”
In a Soompi report, the drama shows Lee Tang becoming aware that he gained the ability to recognize evil people after his first involuntary manslaughter. Meanwhile, police detective Jang Nan Gam (Suk-ku) follows Lee Tang in his search for answers.
“A Killer Paradox” is set to premiere on the streaming platform on February 9.
