Netflix dropped the first teaser for sci-fi drama starring award-winning actor Adam Sandler.

In a 30-second teaser, an astronaut named Jakub wades through knee-deep river in a secluded forest, realizing that he was left behind in the cosmos and what it means for his life on Earth.

According to Netflix, Jakub went on a solitary research mission in the solar system and realized that the marriage he left behind on Earth might not be waiting for him when he returned.

Desperately clinging for scraps of hope, he embarked on a cosmological journey with a mysterious creature and tried making sense of things that went wrong.

Joining Sandler are Carey Mulligan and Paul Dano. “Spaceman” is set to hit on the streaming platform on March 1.

“Spaceman” was based on the novel “Spaceman of Bohemia” by Jaroslav Kalfař.
