Two months before graduation, Prince Wilhem returns to Hillerska and the student body gets filled with questions following his public announcement of his and Simon’s relationship.

“Students return to Hillerska, anticipation is in the air and all eyes are on Wilhelm and Simon, now that they are openly together,” Netflix’s caption read.

With the previous season ending with a cliffhanger of Willhelm’s (Edvin Rydin) announcement of his lover for Simon (Omar Rudberg), the season finale raises doubts as to whether their endgame is in order or another set of hurdles will be laid in their path.

“Young Royals” follows a Swedish prince named Prince Wilhelm who was sent to a boarding school and falls in love with a classmate named Simon. The two struggle to show their love for each other as compounding problems occur.

The Swedish show is set to premiere on the streaming platform on March 11 for episodes 1 to 5 and March 18 for the series finale.
