

Production company Focus Features on Thursday, Oct. 26, dropped the official trailer of “Lisa Frankenstein,” marking Filipina actress Liza Soberano’s Hollywood debut.
“A coming of RAGE love story from acclaimed writer Diablo Cody (Jennifer’s Body) about a misunderstood teenager and her high school crush, who happens to be a handsome corpse,” the logline read.
“After a set of playfully horrific circumstances bring him back to life, the two embark on a murderous journey to find love, happiness… and a few missing body parts along the way,” it added.
The trailer follows Lisa successfully turning a man’s corpse into a living one. Together, they go through a series of parties with neon lights, gore, and a bloody pick axe.
“Lisa Frankenstein” also stars Kathryn Newton, Cole Sprouse, Carla Gugino, Joe Chrest, and Henry Eikenberry.
The film is set to be released in theaters on February 9, 2024.
