Production company Black Sheep released on Thursday, Oct. 12, the official teaser for “I Am Not Big Bird” starring Enrique Gil, marking the actor’s comeback on the big screen after three years.

“Growing up, me and my dad used to just love comedy, he was a comedian himself, so I really wanted to make a solid comedy film that me and my dad, if he were still here, would want to watch,” Gil said in a Deadline report.

The comedy film follows Gil’s character who takes a trip to Thailand where he gets mistaken for a porn star called “Big Bird.”

In the same report, Director Victor Villanueva said that the movie was inspired by real-life events of the film’s writer Lilit Reyes who experienced the same mishap during a vacation to Thailand albeit in a different premise as the movie’s character.

Joining Gil in the “I Am Not Big Bird” are Pepe Herrera, Nikko Natividad, and Red Ollero.
