Universal Pictures released the official trailer of “Abigail” featuring crime, blood, and a child vampire to wreak havoc in the lives of her kidnappers.
“After a group of would-be criminals kidnap the 12-year-old ballerina daughter of a powerful underworld figure, all they have to do to collect a $50 million ransom is watch the girl overnight,” the synopsis read.
“In an isolated mansion, the captors start to dwindle, one by one, and they discover, to their mounting horror, that they’re locked inside with no normal little girl,” it added.
The two-minute trailer follows a child named Abigail being kidnapped and flashes to a man speaking to kidnappers, giving them a 24-hour ultimatum to get the ransom money. But things turn sinister when Abigail turns out to be a vampire.
“Abigail” stars Alisha Weir as Abigail while Melissa Barrera, Dan Stevens, Kathryn Newton, William Catlett, Kevin Durand, and the late Angus Cloud as the kidnappers.
