The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) on Tuesday, Nov. 7, arrested alleged leader of cult Socorro Bayanihan Services Inc. (SBSI), Jey Rence Quilario or Senior Aguila and three other SBSI leaders.
According to RH Raymund Dadpaas's report in DZRH's Public Service Hour, NBI issued the warrant of arrest in Senate where Quilario along with Mamerto Galnida, Karen Sanico, and Janeth Tamayo Ajoc were investigated over the reported abuses and violence against SBSI children.
After the hearing ended, the SBSIS leaders was handcuffed by the NBI personnel and brought to detention.
DZRH obtained a copy of the warrant of arrest issued by acting presiding judge Ambrosio Narada Moleta of Dapa, Surigao Del Norte Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 31.
Based on the warrant of arrest, the SBSI leader and 12 members have been charged with "the offense of Qualified Trafficking in Persons", a violation of Republic Act No. 9208 as amended.

"The bail for the release of the accused in this case is fixed at NOT BAILABLE for 8 counts of Qualified Trafficking in Persons (Viol. of RA No. 9208 as amended of) NO BAIL BOND RECOMMENDED," the warrant reads.
