Classes in several areas have been canceled on Wednesday, April 12 due to inclement weather brought on by 'Tropical Depression Amang'.

At 4 AM today, April 12, Tropical Depression "AMANG" was located over the coastal waters of San Andres, Catanduanes, according to all available data.

It is estimated to have maximum sustained winds of 45 km/h near the center, gusts of up to 60 km/h, and a central pressure of 1006 hPa.

Amang is the first storm that entered the country this 2023 ahead of the El Niño season.
