<a href="https://www.dzrh.com.ph/post/tropical-depression-dodong-moves-over-cagayan-valley" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Tropical Depression Dondong</a> has caused the cancellation of classes in certain regions of Luzon on Friday, July 14, as reported by PAGASA in its most recent weather update.&nbsp;
The estimated location of Dodong is near Lasam, Cagayan, determined from comprehensive data analysis (18.1&deg;N, 121.5&deg;E).&nbsp;
As of 7:50 a.m. on July 14, the following provinces have suspended classes due to adverse weather conditions:

<li>San Fernando, Pampanga (all levels)</li>
<li>Cagayan (pre-school to senior high school)</li>
<li>Ilocos Sur (all levels of public and private schools)</li>
</ul>
According to PAGASA, TD Dodong will retain its status as a tropical depression while traversing mainland Northern Luzon.
The state weather bureau said there is a possibility that it will intensify into a tropical storm by tomorrow afternoon or evening while moving over the West Philippine Sea.
