In response to the intensified impact of the southwest monsoon or habagat and the departure of Typhoon Falcon (Khanun) from the Philippine Area of Responsibility, various regions announced temporarily halt of both work and classes on Wednesday, August 2.

Below is a list of areas with suspended work and classes:

Central Luzon

• Pampanga – all levels (public and private), until Friday, August 4
• Angeles City – all levels (public and private), until Friday, August 4

Ilocos Region

• Calasiao, Pangasinan – all levels (public and private)
• Dagupan City – all levels (public and private)
